Numerous discussions have been had with regard to the Muslims in Palestine, the Israelis and the solution for all.

Often we here certain voices call for a Two State solution in Palestine. Usually the proponents are Western Nations as well some Arab regimes who all have their own vested interests in this solution.

This week’s talk discusses this vital issue. Will a two state solution really provide a solution for the Muslims living there? Will it really bring them security? Will they be allowed to return to their land and houses that had been in their possession for centuries? But most importantly what is the Islamic perspective on this solution.

Last week Many of the Western leaders were present at the Davos meeting all scrambling to try and get a grip on the world Economic problem, primarily caused in their own countries.

But when the problem is so bad, what we see is that the pillars of the economic system get tested and start to show their cracks.

This week we have also seen the many protests, not just in Britain with the view of British jobs for British people, but also in Italy and various other countries. America is thinking about introducing economic protectionist policies.

This week’s talk discusses this principle of free trade/protectionism.

There has been a lot of media coverage about the massacre in Gaza.

Some of it has been in detail and some not so much.

The question arises then how do these channels decide what to show and in how much detail.

Some channels refused to show graphic detail of the war, trying to justify that they had the interests of their audience at stake.

Other channels gave graphic detail that it caused widespread agitation and anger amongst the viewers.

This week’s talk addresses some of these issues and at the same time how we as Muslims should view the news.
