The joy and excitement that you experience at the birth of your child, is almost impossible to describe in words. As you hold your child in your arms for the first time; your mind begins to wander as to what the future may hold for your child living in the West.
And then the sleepless nights begin.
Should I send them to state school, private school or Islamic school?
How will I stop my child from being another one of the youth that just hang about on the street?
How will I protect them from the influences of kufr?
In this, the final circle of the series, the speaker, a father of four, will outline the influence of society in shaping the personalities of children and offer some practical advice to parents on how best to bring up children.

Ever since the Pakistan Army ventured into FATA in its quest to uproot the alleged al-Qaeda elements operating there, there have been numerous incidents of civilian casualties. Some of these have come as a result of the army’s operations while others have been the result of increased attacks by missile-equipped Predator unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) operated by the CIA and the U.S. military.

Is this an undeclared War on Pakistan?, Is America planning to split Pakistan?
These and related issues will be discussed at the circle.

Many in the West have highlighted the collapse of the family unit and family values as being pivotal in the breakdown of society. Politicians, like the Tory leader David Cameron have been quick to promote the need for a stable, two parent family unit as a solution to “fix our broken society”
Over the coming weeks, The Friday Circle, will aim to explore the problems facing Muslim families living in the West.
This, the first of three circles, will highlight the underlying concepts that have led to the breakdown of society and the institution of family and explore how Islam would protect society and family values in the Khilafah State.

After months of campaigning, bickering and spending, the American Election enters the final week, with the rivals in a final dash to secure votes for the coveted ‘hot seat’. Current Gallup polls put Obama 10 points ahead of his rival McCain, suggesting that America is bracing itself for its first Black President.

As the world rejoices the demise of George Bush, many from amongst the Muslims are hoping that by voting Democrat they will be electing a new President who will be more sympathetic to the problems in the Muslim world, be more even handed regarding the Palestinian problem and abandon the aggressive neo-con agenda.

This circle will investigate whether Muslims are right to place their faith in Obama or McCain and highlight the key challenges facing America and the new incumbent of the White House

A question that is posed by some Muslims is when did this attack and hatred of Islam begin?

Was it when the Iraq was attacked?, Was it when Afghanistan Was attacked? Was it when Palestine was carved from the Muslim lands?
This talk tries to answers these question in light of the recent attack on the Honour of the Messenger (SAW) with the book, Jewel of Madina.
