The application of the Shariah in our time has been the subject of discussion amongst many in the West and indeed in the Muslim lands. Some have argued that it should be left in the books of history and others have gone as far as calling for the banning of the Quran.
It has also been stated that Quran should itself be changed to fit modern society, and that certain verses should be taken out for the purpose of compromise.
This circle addresses how the Quran itself answers these questions, which were also put to the Messenger of Allah(saw).
